If you are looking to hydrate your dry hair and scalp, a rehydrating oil mask is for you. Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in the microwave for 20 seconds, add 2 tablespoons of honey and apply to your hair. Cover with a shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse.
This avocado hair mask will restore shine, hydrate, repair and fight the frizz effect. Mix together 1 whole avocado, 2 eggs, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in a bowl. Starting at the roots, work the mixture into your hair, then let sit for 15 to 20 minutes and rinse.
Problems with oily hair? Try this simple yogurt hair mask:
Mix 1/2 cup (more if you have longer or thicker hair) yogurt
1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon honey
Mix in a bowl and layer onto the mid-lengths to ends.
Let the mixture set for 15 to 20 minutes, rinse and wash hair with an organic fruit shampoo to battle any lingering yogurt odor.
If frizz is your foe, using this frizz-fighter mask once a month will help keep it under control.
1/2 cup yogurt
1/2 cup honey
1 tablespoon almond oil
Whipped together and applied to your hair and scalp will do wonders.
Leave on for 15 minutes and rinse.
To eliminate excess oil or grease and give your hair an attractive shine, use this strawberry hair mask. Blend together 6 or 7 strawberries, 1 tablespoon coconut oil and 1 tablespoon honey in a food processor or blender. Apply it evenly to damp hair and leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
